Due to growing criminal activity on the North Side, the NLBA is raising money for cameras placed in police-suggested locations on the North Side. These cameras are live-fed to the La Crosse Police Department. While they can help deter crime, they are particularly helpful in solving crime. Downtown La Crosse has 79 cameras installed already.
Each camera costs $4,000. We will purchase additional cameras to be placed at the NLBA board's discretion as additional money is raised.
Through the Uptowne Collective effort and an initial investor, we already have funding for three cameras around Caledonia Street. These are not included in the goal below.
Donation goalGoal: $20,000.00
Collected: $250.00
Every $4,000 raised helps us purchase one camera. We will increase the goal as we get closer to meeting each milestone.
Please consider offering a pledge by emailing info@northlacrosse.org and sending a check in to maximize dollars going to our cause!
